Fix I.T. Claremont opened its doors in 2014 and became a Claremont fixture, a flagship store repairing everything from students’ first MacBooks to companies’ entire fleets.
When the MyCiTi bus development came through the area, our flagship store had to make way for the city’s plans. We didn’t slow down: we consolidated into our Claremont workshop at 60 Meyer Street and doubled down on what we do best, specialist repairs done in-house, with courier collection across Cape Town and all of South Africa.
Through it all, Apple devices became the heart of the business, so they earned their own name: FixMac, the Apple-specialist division of Fix I.T. Claremont. Same founder, same team, same standards, dedicated entirely to MacBook, iMac, iPhone and iPad.
FixMac is not a franchise or a faceless chain. It was built by one technician who learned electronics from his father and turned it into one of Cape Town’s most-reviewed repair businesses.
Jade Botha learned electronics the old-school way, from his father, and has spent over 12 years repairing devices. He founded Fix I.T. Claremont in 2014 and built its flagship store into one of Cape Town’s most-reviewed repair businesses.
