Who we are

FixMac is the Apple-specialist division of Fix I.T. Claremont, 60 Meyer Street, Claremont, Cape Town, 7708. We are the responsible party for personal information collected through this website and our repair services. Contact: info@fixmac.co.za or 084 745 4897.

What we collect

• Your name, phone/WhatsApp number and email address when you request a quote.
• Details about your device and its fault.
• Information needed to complete, invoice, deliver or courier a repair.
• Anonymous website usage data (such as pages visited) if analytics cookies are used.

How we use it

Only to respond to your enquiry, carry out and document your repair, arrange collection or courier, honour warranties and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your information, and we only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them.

Your device data

We access data on your device only as far as the repair requires. We do not copy, view or share your personal files, and we ask before any work that could affect your data.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us deliver the repair (for example courier companies), or where the law requires it.

Retention and security

We keep repair records for as long as needed for warranty, accounting and legal purposes, and protect them with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its processing. Email info@fixmac.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
